PSK has been a cultural institution dedicated to teaching Bharathanatyam since 2007. With a unique and professional approach, we offer a comprehensive 8-level course focused on the inner conscience and life skills development. Our dedication is reflected in our successful transition to online classes and universal recognition of our Nattuvangam Course. PSK takes pride in its global reach and continuous growth, having earned recognition in both India and Asia Book of Records.

PadmaSri Kalamandir has achieved over 41 Salangai Pooja Events, National Competition Wins and Guinness World Record participation, showcasing its excellence in Indian classical dance.
Record set at India Book of Records & Asia Book of Records (2024)
The 17th Annual Navarathri celebration in October 2024, led by Guru Shri. S. Krishnan, achieved recognition in the India and Asia Books of Records for the maximum number of students (665) performing Bharatanatyam from a single institution in different groups.
Accomplished 41 Salangai Pooja events (2024)
PSK has successfully completed 41 Salangai Pooja events so far since 2009. About 700 disciples have performed their Salangai Pooja till date, under the able guidance of Gurus Shri. S. Krishnan & Smt. Anjana Krishnan.
Accomplished 11 Arangetram events (2024)
PSK has produced 11 batches including 64 proud students who completed their 8 Level course and accomplished Arangetram since 2019 under the guidance of Guru Shri. S. Krishnan. Apart from performing a Margam, the Nattuvangam Skill of the disciples was showcased. Varnams, Mohiniyattam, Kathak and Kuchipudi were the highlights of the remarkable events.

Preliminary consisting of Prayer Shlokas, Basic Adavus (Steps), Mudras, Head, Neck and Eye Movements.
MUKULA
Learning Advanced Adavu patterns, Understanding and Executing proper body movement & intricate Footsteps.
NOOPURA
Learning the Script or a situation & bringing out the Facial Expressions as taught by the Guru.
PAYANA
Attainment of this level makes one eligible to Wear the Sacred Salangai and step on to a stage to Showcase the art learnt thus far.
HRUDAYA
Being the Improvement & Refinement Level, imbibing the perfection in the art form.
MAYURA
Accomplishment of this level is the Criterion for Performing Arangetram besides learning the basics of Nattuvangam.
JWALA
Advanced Learning of the intricacies in Nattuvangam & acquiring deeper theoretical knowledge.
MOKSHA
Meant for Professional Excellence mainly for those who seriously aspire to this line of Cultural teaching & performing, thereby taking up as their profession.
